Red Sugar is a superfoods cafe, store & smoothie bar due to open on Wednesday the 13th of February. This is the first of its kind to launch in Scotland and is based on an ecogreen concept. Everything where possible is recycled after use or composted and our takeaway packaging is biodegradable.The cafe provides a relaxing, contemporary environment where an array of raw, sweet delights are on offer. This includes the new to the scene 'raw chocolate' which is freshly hand-made by ourselves and is believed to be one of the most antioxidant rich and nutritious foods on the planet. Raw chocolate retains all the antioxidants, enzymes and other feel good nutrients like phenylethaylamine, affectionately known as the joy molecule. This is the real chocolate you can eat without the guilt!
The store provides the chance to purchase many new superfoods not yet readily available in the UK, whilst the smoothie bar provides a choice of unique smoothies quite different to anywhere else. The preparation is with organic/chemical free produce and the usage of de-ionised reverse osmosis water - the purest water available.
